Water, water everywhere!

Wow, it has been a while since my last post! I shall blame it on grad school finals, spring recitals and concerts, trying to get a summer case study approved, graduation festivities, and lots of family visiting for my cousin's graduation. Anyway, I have several posts in the works including Part 2 of Canada and another trip down Bohemia Lane but in the meantime I need to vent about 2012.

My cousin needed to go shopping several weeks ago for an outfit for graduation and we went to seven clothing stores in search of a white dress. I did not cave as I spotted many cute and CHEAP clothes, but it was not a pleasant experience.  While at Target I resolved to steer clear of the clothes and shoes which is the usual drill, but shortly after congratulating myself for yet again avoiding temptation, I passed by a young woman in the card section holding this skirt.
This skirt is a perfect, universally flattering style, and is my favorite shade of blue. The belt adds a classy touch, can be exchanged for any other neutral colored belt, or can be left out altogether. And did I mention it's only $17.99?! So cute. And so not happening until 2013.

Then we ran into Marshalls and JC Penney and dresses similar to these little numbers started mocking me. HELP! I clearly have a weakness for dresses this year. Probably because I dress up as a teacher and like to stay cool and comfortable in the summer.
